On 28 July 2017 only an emergency shot on 766 could be made while passing through Wijchen due to another train from behind that threatened to pass in front of the historic EMU.

NS(M) 273 quits Nijmegen on a condition ride on 13 May 2023. A planned transfer haul of an even older EMU from Blerick to Utrecht-Maliebaan was cancelled due to a technical damage on that older EMU, but was no cause at all to cancel a nice condition ride. 
