On 21 April 2024, RXP 1251 hauls a special train into Haarlem with an SSN train, including steamer at the other end. Between Haarlem and Leiden the famous Keukenhof flower beds are sited and in April most flowers bloom, hence this train shuttled between the two cities to give the riders a nice view on the blooming flowers. The six trips were sold out within three hours.

Sadly, RXP 1251 has been out of service the last few years -as the last of the ACTS/HUSA/EETC 1250s. On 4 March 2018 this loco stood at Arnhem, sadly positioned against the Sun light. 
