On 2 May 2025 the deployment of N-Wagen (the older coaches) with ex-DB electrics Class 101 had just commenced and that day TCS 103004 (ex DB 101 033) pushes a replacement service through Venlo VIerpaardjes toward Mönchengladbach.

On 19 February 2026 DB 101 075 pushes an IC train from Hamburg into LÜbeck Hbf, where a Class 218 Diesel locomotive will be coupled to the train for the further leap to Rostock Hbf. 

Loco swap at Itzehoe on 14 February 2026: DB 101 145 pushes an IC from Hamburg into Itzehoe. During a twelve minute stop the electric loco will get off the train whilsyt at the front end a DB Class 218 will take the lead for ther non-electrified ride from Itzehoe to Westerland (Sylt). 
