Gone are the times of TERs with 16500 in the broad vicinity of Lille. On 13 September 2004 SNCF 16514 stands with a TER to Lens at Lille-Flandres. Regional services in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region were almost monopolised by Class 1650 with TER train sets until about 2013. 
