Deployments of NMBS/SNCB Class 27 on freights always have been rare and with the rapid decline (both in numbers and in appearances, tagged as they are) this class will be phased out soon. Antwerpen-Dam as a station has ceased to exist already from 2013/2014.

Side view on Certus Rail 2731 at Roosendal on 23 February 2025. Sadly, Class 27 are also decommissioned by Certus Rail, even before NMBS/SNCB withdrew the last locos of Classes 21 and 27. 
