The SJ Rc2 1036 reaches Malmö C with the D 318 Nils Holgersson . The SJ Rc2 1039, built by ASSEA in 1969, took over the train at the Trelleborg ferry port. The D 318 Nils Holgersson runs from Berlin Zoo (from 10:50 p.m.) via Stralsund and Sassnitz to Malmö. On arrival the train consists of three cars, a DB sleeping car, an ex DR car (compartment car/coucher?) and another ex DR InterRegio car. In the last DR course book winter 1990/91 the train is listed in timetable table 650 as Sassnitz Express . By the way, the eponymous Nils Holgersson traveled in the other direction in his story, namely from southern Sweden to Lapland.

De SJ Rc2 1036 bereikt Malmö C met de D 318 "Nils Holgersson". De SJ Rc2 1039, gebouwd door ASSEA in 1969, nam de trein over in de veerhaven van Trelleborg. De D 318 "Nils Holgersson" rijdt van Berlin Zoo (vanaf 22:50 uur) via Stralsund en Sassnitz naar Malmö. Bij aankomst bestaat de trein uit drie rijtuigen, een DB slaaprijtuig, een voormalig DR-rijtuig (compartimentrijtuig/coucher?) en nog een voormalig DR InterRegio-rijtuig. In het laatste DR-cursusboek winter 1990/91 staat de trein vermeld in dienstregelingstabel 650 als "Sassnitz Express". Overigens reisde de naamgever Nils Holgersson in zijn verhaal in de andere richting, namelijk van Zuid-Zweden naar Lapland. Analoge foto van 30 april 1999 

The SJ Rc2 1041 and SJ Rc5 1339 are located in Helsingborg F, the ferry terminal to Denmark, which was in operation until the tunnel/bridge route from København to Malmö was opened in 2000.
