Although I like the old diesel machines from the Belgian railways more than this "Reeks 77", the 77's are still nice machines. This Portrait is very nice, Hans and Jeanny!

The wonderful Cockerill engine 201.010 (5910) was shown on September 27th, 2009 in Mariembourg during the steam festival. The fantastic sound makes these engines famous. (go to image) 

The NOHAB 202.020 (former CFL 1602) photographed at Mariembourg on September 27th, 2009. This engine was built in 1955 for the SNCB, but as the CFL badly needed Diesel locomotves at this time, it went with three sisters to Luxembourg. After 41 years of service there, it was owned by Märklin for publicity purposes from 1996 until 1998. In 1998 it returned finally to Belgium, it was repainted by the PFT-TSP in the original SNCB coulours and got the number 202.020, which was destinated to it before its odyssey. (go to image) 

2201 photographed on September 12th at Saint Ghislain. This engine is the only one of this class, which will survive, it will be restored by the PFT-TPS. (go to image) 

On October 4th, 1859 the first train was running through Luxembourg and on October 4th, 2009 this anniversary was celebtated with a steam train. (go to image) 

Nice to see that these old engines are still running. Once I travelled with the classes 44 and 45 between Dinant, Bertrix and Virton/Libramont. A very nice experencie with this beautiful old rail cars. A very nice picture!
