"Le Chablais en fête" at the Blonay Chamby train. The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars railway 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, were the reason for this year's autumn festival "Le Chablais en fête. The ASD BCFe 4/4 N° is a special attraction 1 "TransOrmonan" of the TPC with its B 35 as a guest vehicle There was a big and well-organized surprise in Chamby this morning: The picture shows the ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1, built in 1913 and converted in 1940, on the journey from Blonay to Chaulin (left in the picture) and the two MOB BCFe 4/4 N° 11 (built in 1905) and DZe 6/6 2002 (built in 1932), both today on the Blonay-Chamby Bahn, at a fine vehicle parade between two MOB/MVR trains Chamby. Festival Suisse de la vapeur 2024 / Swiss Steam Festival 2024 of the Blonay-Chamby Railway - A view of the new wooden pylons on the section from Cornaux to the Baye de Clarens Tunnel as well as the construction site for the restoration of the Baye de Clarens Viaduct. So the beautifully restored MOB FZe 6/6 2002 of the Blonay - Chamby Railway with its passenger train to Chaulin is almost only a "decoration" of this picture.

Festival Suisse de la vapeur 2024 / Swiss Steam Festival 2024 of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn. A few trains were also transported with electric traction and the FZe 6/6 2002 and the Ge 4/4 81 were mainly used. The picture shown here shows the Bernina Bahn Ge 4/4 81 de Blonay Chamby Bahn on the journey from Blonay to Chamby just before Cornaux. Worth noting, even if only as a detail, are the new wooden catenary masts on the Cornaux - Tunnle Baye de Clarens section and the new tracks on this section. May 20, 2024
