May 2025 was characterized by a strong focus on Italian rail operations, especially in Ferrara, where numerous sightings included multiple units such as ETR 600 01, ETR 104 261 B, and ALn 668 017 ER, as well as locomotives E.464 901 and 191 030. Freight activity was also notable, with tank trains handled by locomotives like 483 003 and appearances of Akiem 483 308 in Rovigo. In Rome, city trams including 7019, 7101, 7057, and 9028 were documented, with Avenue Napoleon III and Termini station as recurring locations, and a special mention of a tram in use for driving school purposes. Belgium featured prominently with Lineas HLR 77-78, HLE 13, and Infrabel HLD 55 and 62-63 classes, alongside DB Cargo Siemens Vectron locomotives transporting freight to and from the port of Antwerp. Medway's Bombardier Traxx locomotives 186 113 and 186 206 were also repeatedly observed. Weather conditions in the images suggest clear, operationally favorable days, supporting both regular services and special movements. The month's motifs included station scenes, shunting operations, and a mix of passenger and freight traffic across Italy and Belgium.

Massive faults with EuroBahn led to the rent and deployment of N-Wagen (older West-German hauled stock) and TCS Class 101 from 2 May 2025. On that day, TCS 103003 (ex-DBAG 101 133) pushes an RB from Wüppertal via MÖnchengladbach into Venlo. 
