MIDI 4002 stands in the Cité du Train in Mulhouse on 30 May 2019. The CF de MIDI ordered forty locos of this type for passenger services under 1.500 Volt DC catenary. After the nationalisation of the French raiwlays in 1938, spawning the SNCF, these locos became class BB 1500.
