Per il gran finale della stagione della Ferrovia Blonay Chamby La DER 2023, c'è stato ancora una volta tanto vapore: la G 2/2 n. 4 Rimini è arrivata a Blonay con il magnificamente restaurato carrozza compartimento A-L con compartimento bagagli CF2 n. 21, costruito nel 1900, e la HG 3/4 attende con il suo treno per la partenza imminente. 28 ottobre 2023

Nell'ambito del gran finale di stagione DER 2023, la Ferrovia Blonay Chamby ha offerto corse fino al Viadotto Baye de Clarens per ispezionare i progressi dell'ampia ristrutturazione della struttura. Fortunatamente, mi è stato permesso di scendere dal treno sotto supervisione e scattare alcune foto. Nella foto, la G 2/2 n. 4 Rimini con il bellissimo carrozza compartimento A-L restaurato con compartimento bagagli CF2 n. 21, costruito nel 1900, sul Viadotto Baye de Clarens. 28 ottobre 2023

Swiss Steam Festival 2026 - Although I'm fortunate enough to attend the Swiss Steam Festival quite often, one might think that I'd eventually run out of things to photograph. But as this picture shows, that's not the case. This is thanks to the presence of the G 2/2 TICINO! While the A 3/5 may be one of the most beautiful steam locomotives in my opinion, the G 2/2 TICINO has truly captured my heart, especially since I had the opportunity (in 2018) to ride in its cab for the first time. I was therefore all the more delighted that the G 2/2 TICINO was enriching this year's steam festival. The A 3/5 may be one of the most beautiful steam locomotives in my opinion, but the G 2/2 TICINO has truly captured my heart. After initially thinking I'd hardly be able to photograph the locomotive in the crowd, this opportunity presented itself: Coming from Blonay, the HG 3/4 No. 3 steamed towards Chamby with its train, while the small TICINO, supplied with coal/wood and water, waited for its shunting maneuver into the museum station.
