Since Class 361.1 is capable of 160 km/h, sometimes they deputise on Prague--Bratislava/-Zilina EuroCities as was the case on 20 September 2020 at Praha hln., where 361 125 is about to haul the EC toward Zilina via Pardubice and Ostrava.

On 30 May 2015 ZSSK 361 002 calls at Zilina. Class 361 is a midlife rebuild of older locos of Classes 162 and 163. Externally, the main difference is that Class 361 have monobloc wheels, where all other Eso/Pershing locos of both CD and ZSSK have spoked wheels.
