DB 218 321 calls at Niebüll on a grey 16 February 2026 as one of the very last IC trains between Niebüll and Westerland (Sylt) with Class 218 haulage. From March DB Class 245 have taken over this service and from 1 May complete new train sets called ICE-L are scheduled to take over the long distance trains betwen the two places.
