The SCB C 4 196, from 1902 SBB Ed 2x2/2 7696 with the current UIC number 90 85 00 07 696-7, is shunting in Sumiswald Grünen. The Mallet locomotive was built in 1893 at the J.A. Maffei locomotive factory (Munich). The steam locomotive was in service on the Hauenstein Line until 1915. Subsequently, it operated on the Le Pont - Le Brassus route with a short stay in Bavaria in 1918. In 1938, the locomotive was retired and stored until it was refurbished in 1958 and 1993. Today, the steam locomotive belongs to SBB Historic and is maintained and operated by the OeBB. June 14, 2025 
