While the MOB GoldenPass Express GPX 4068 leaves Montreux in the picture on the right, another one is ready on the left in the picture. In addition, the Rochers de Naye Beh 4/8 304 "La Tour de Peilz" can be seen at the very left edge of the picture.

I have often mentioned that “my” popular MOB photo locations in the surrounding area are hardly suitable for the GoldenPass Express due to backlighting.

While the MOB GoldenPass Express GPX 4068 leaves Montreux in the picture on the right, another one is ready on the left in the picture.

The MOB line between Gstaad and Schönried gains the necessary altitude in wide curves. The image shows the GoldenPass Express (GPX) PE 4068 from Montreux to Interlaken Ost, hauled by the Ge 4/4 8004 Swisstainable, which will be replaced by a BLS Re 465 in Zweisimmen. October 13, 2025

The MOB line between Gstaad and Schönried gains the necessary altitude in wide curves. The image shows the GoldenPass Express (GPX) PE 4068 from Montreux to Interlaken Ost, hauled by the Ge 4/4 8004 "Swisstainable," which will be replaced by a BLS Re 465 in Zweisimmen. What's special about this image: unlike the previous one, this picture doesn't show the shadowy front of the Ge 4/4 8004, but rather the sunlit rear of the locomotive. October 13, 2025 
