In Vallorcine, the SNCF Z 800 002 from Chamonix to Martigny crosses paths with the TMR BDeh 4/8 22 traveling in the opposite direction. Usually, a transfer is required in Vallorcine; here, the direct connection is likely due to a rolling stock rotation. April 9, 2026 

Since the new TMR/SNCF Beh 4/8 92/983 (UIC 90 85 838 0892-2) lingered in Finhaut for a few more minutes before departing for Salvan, I was able to photograph the train, bathed in sunlight, from various perspectives, as far as access allowed. November 19, 2025 
