The railway adventure of the Bernese Oberland - the MOB FZe 6/6 2002 has reached its destination with its Riviera Belle Epoque train from Blonay to Montreux.
The 105 007-9 (91 80 6105 007-9 D-DB) is a Talgo Travca multi-system electric locomotive or TALGO 230 of DB Fernverkehr AG, intended for hauling the ICE L, here on September 24, 2026, at Stendal



The railway adventure of the Bernese Oberland - the MOB FZe 6/6 2002 - probably the undisputed star of this year's autumn event of the Blonay Chamby Railway and also a successful hyphen to the 125th anniversary of the MOB, especially since the powerful railcar is being used on the MOB again after a long time, as this picture from Montreux shows. The baggage railcars FZe 6/6 2001 and 2002 (from 1962 DZe 6/6) were specially procured for the Golden Mountain Pullman Express introduced in 1931 by the MOB and the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL), but due to the rather unglorious economic situation, they only operated for one summer. Delivered in 1932, the railcars therefore never operated in front of the Golden Mountain Pullman Express, but they still spread their very special charm today and also present an elegant image on the Blonay Chamby Railway. The distinctive railcar stands in Montreux, waiting for the train composition visible far in the background to roll onto the opposite platform. September 5, 2026
