At the BLS / MLB Grenchen Nord station, the two BLS MIKA RABe 528 134 from Basel to Biel/Bienne and the RABe 528 109 from Biel/Bienne to Basel SBB cross paths. For a long time, exactly 105 years, there were hardly any BLS trains to be seen on this route. Since the opening of the BLS / MLB line, the SBB had been handling the traffic, which, contrary to the original plan, did not run primarily via Delle but focused on the Basel - Biel/Bienne axis.
