Of the two (ex Travys) Domino trains, at least one is still operating in its original composition with ABt NPZ DO 50 85 39-43 985-5, B NPZ DO 50 85 29-43 385-8, and RBDe 560 DO 94 85 7 560 385-7. The mentioned Domino is waiting with another Domino in Lausanne as S41 for departure to Fribourg. Either the ex Travys Domino is very well cleaned or newly painted; in any case, it makes an extremely well-maintained impression. June 26, 2026

At Ligerz, on the last relatively short single-track section of the Jura Foot Line, an SBB RBDe 560 Domino is on its way towards Biel/Bienne. The work for the double-track expansion in the form of a tunnel is already underway, and in a few years it will no longer be possible to photograph trains in this harmonious Biel Lake landscape near Ligerz. An SBB RBDe 560 Domino is operating as R13 on its way from Yverdon les Bains to Biel/Bienne. I photographed the train on the last single-track section of the Jura Foot Line between Ligerz (in the background) with the well-known church on the right in the picture and Bipschal, which is located a few hundred meters behind me; from this photo spot, I also took a zoomed-in picture of the IC51 from the two previous images.
