Every hour a steam train. It is done by the VSM during their annualy held "Terug naar Toen" steam train bonanza (held every first complete weekend in September) and one of the trains from Apeldoorn is hauled by 52 3879 that is about to enter at Beekbergen, the preservationists' head quarters.

Ex-NS 2412 stands at the VSM in Beekbergen on 6 September 2015. When NS ordered 129 locos of this Class with Alstom, the Dutch experimented with colour schemes, resulting in this turqois for 2401-2422 before the brown of the 1960s waqs introduced to the whole Class. Since VSM already had a brown 2400, they decided to buy a second loco from a French operator and painted her in this colour scheme. 
