Bella Italia in the middle of Spain and very quickly: the IRYO ETR 400 flies from Madrid at around 300 km/h to Barcelona via the high-speed line near Bujaraloz (Spain).
Two RENFE AVE 103 multiple units are on the high-speed line near Bujaraloz as AVE 3112 on the way from Baracelana Sants to Madrid Puerto Atocha.

In the background, the SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 was waiting to continue its journey. The diesel railcar runs as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and has a fairly long stop period of nine minutes. Gièvres train station. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon. Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres. April 7, 2024

In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon, the tracks of which can be seen in the foreground in the left part of the picture.
