First off, the EXIF date is correct – the SBB RABe 522 210 is operating as RE 56 4560 on its way to Biel/Bienne, a good month after the timetable change and the conversion of the RE 56 Biel/Bienne - Meroux to the IR Biel/Bienne - Basel SBB! The solution to the puzzle: Presumably to connect the SBB RABe 522 trains still in service in the Jura region to the maintenance depot in Biel/Bienne, a train pair runs as RE56 from the Pruntrut region to Biel/Bienne and back from Monday to Friday. The SBB RABe 522 210 is traveling as RE56 4561 from Bonfol to Biel/Bienne and is leaving the MLB BLS station Grenchen Nord. January 13, 2026 
