The last colorful leaves are still dangling on the bushes and trees, the first snow is covering the mountains - it's autumn; and this offers a light that cannot otherwise be seen all year round.
The two MOB advertising locomotives Ge 4/4 8001 and 8004 with their GoldenPass Express trains in Montreux.



Just a few minutes before the arrival of the GoldenPass Express GPX 4065 with the MOB Ge 4/4 Swiss Tainable (at 12:22), the SBB Re 460 Swiss Tainable stopped with its IR 90 Ven Genèe to Brig in Montreux (at 12 :17)! But even if both locomotives had been together in Montreux station, it would hardly have been possible to get both locomotives in one picture. December 7, 2024

The SBB Re 460 028 (Re 460 91 85 4 460 028-4 CH-SBB) features the attractive advertising decoration Schweizer Wanderwege / Suisse Rando / Sentieri Svizzeri / Sendas Svizras . although the locomotive probably looks even better with the yellow front. The SBB Re 460 028 was photographed at the stop in Lausanne with the IR 95 1724 from Brig to Nyon. August 14, 2026

The SBB Re 460 028 (Re 460 91 85 4 460 028-4 CH-SBB) has been carrying the very attractive advertising decoration in all four national languages Schweizer Wanderwege / Suisse Rando / Sentieri Svizzeri / Sendas Svizras since May 2026. I was able to photograph the SBB Re 460 028 with the IR 90 in Vevey using my now twenty-year-old small digital camera, which, however, reached its limits under these lighting conditions. July 13, 2026
