Watawala Railway Station which is located in a remote area in the main hill country line. Looking at the roof tiles it is evident that it was repaired recently may be due to the fact that Wattawala records highest annual rainfall in the island. But the walls needs a new coat of paint. railway arrived this area during 1880-1885.
