In 1998,ex-GDR type V22 shunting Diesel SHM-35 was bought by the Stoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik and earned her nickname Griezel (Creepy) reputedly due to the GDR's origin of the loco, but also because

In 2006 the drastic solution was followed byreplacing the originalengine with a Deutz engine and since that,the loco performs very well. On 6 July 2026 SHM-35 was shuntingat Hoorn after a nice weekend of steam specials.
