In foggy Arth-Goldau, The SOB RABe 526 227 and the SBB Giruno 501 022 (Vaud) were departing for Lucerne and Lugano.
The THURBO EVO RABe 531 402 (UIC RAB 94 85 0 531 402-1 CH-THB)* on a test run in Lausanne.

A Japanese high-speed train on my N scale layout. I set up this model for a few pictures this afternoon. The metal-made train has an interesting function at the SBB: it regulates short breaks in our travel center, following the English staff block system, meaning whoever has the train is allowed to take the short break. This simple method prevents more than one person from being on break at the same time, ensuring customers do not have to wait unnecessarily. June 4, 2026
