FS Trenitalia ETR 610 003 patiently waits in Domodossola as EC 142 Domodossola - Geneva for departure. The train arrived in Domodossola at 10:12 as EC 143 and was then parked for the return journey. This was due to the lengthy construction work between Stresa and Arona.

It seems the renovation of the FS Trenitalia ETR 610 isn't progressing very quickly, as I only just managed to photograph one in the new eC livery in reasonably good light. The FS Trenitalia ETR 610 008, operating as EC 143 from Geneva to Domodossola, was photographed passing through Aigle; pleasingly, the ETR 610 008 is shown here with its nose door closed.
