The Fildern region is still quite rural, as this picture near Echterdingen shows, even if the city already seems to be spilling out of the basin into the landscape. Probably also a reason why the SSB has extended its U5 line on the Filder to the airport. In the picture two SSB trains traveling around the airport. 29.08.2022 
