Reason to party -not only because the Hornberg viaduct -animportant piece of infrastructure on the Black Forest Line- is more than 100 years old, but also because at a time, DMUs/EMUs/BEMUs/BMUs/DEMUs and other new train sets take over passenger traffic apace, it is nice to see hourly loco haulage on the RE2 Karlhsruhe<=>Konstanz onthe schwarzwald Line -and with many an advertising loco at that! Like 146 238 pushing out an RE2 service out off Villingen (Schwarzwald).

On 16 May 2026 DB Regio 146 229 is about to push an RE-2 service to Karlsruhe Hbf via Ogffenburg out of Villingen (Schwarzwald). At a time, DMUs/EMUs/BEMUs/BMUs/DEMUs and other new train sets take over passenger traffic apace, it is nice to see hourly loco haulage on the RE2 Karlhsruhe<=>Konstanz onthe schwarzwald Line -and with many an advertising loco at that!
