At a time when DMUs/EMUs/BEMUs/BMUs/DEMUs and other new train sets take over passenger traffic apace, it is nice to see hourly loco haulage on the RE2 KarlhsruheKonstanz onthe schwarzwald Line -and
UEF's 75 1118 stands at Villingen (Schwarzwald) after having taken fresh water on 16 May 2026.

According to DB regio 146 231, Radolfzell is always worth a visit and thatcan be done with the RE2 to Konstanz via Hausach, Donaueschingen and Radolfzell. Like on 18 May 2026 with 146 231 quitting Offenburg on a Konstanz bound RE2.
