On 18 Septemberb 2026 DB regio 143 250 -restored in her original colours, albeit with DB emblem and not the DR signs- pushes an S-Bahn out of Pirna towards Dresden Hbf.

Deployment of MEG in revenue earning scheduled passenger operation is quite rare, but on 29 April 2011 MEG 602 calls at Berlin Schönefeld Flughafen (the old station) with double deck stock destrined for Berlin Ostbahnhof.
