I wanted to take the opportunity once again (and probably for the last time) to photograph the SNCF BB 67500 in scheduled service.

The TRN (TansN, ex cmn) BDe 4/4 N° 3 waits in Les Brenets for the return journey as R 24 to Le Locle.

With all the multiple units, it is now rare to see two electric locomotives with passenger trains in the same picture: In Strasbourg, the SNCF BB 22282 with its TER to Saverne and the 26144 with its

I wanted to take the opportunity once again (and probably for the last time) to photograph the SNCF BB 67500 in scheduled service. In Strasbourg, the well-maintained SNCF BB 67599 comes out of the depot while the SNCF BB 67511 can just be seen in the background. March 12, 2024

The Captrain France (CPTF) 1448 D 1206 with the UIC number 92 87 1001448-3 F-CPTF with registration in France and Germany is on its way to the diesel filling station in Strasbourg.

The RENFE railcar 9-446-324-6 is parked in the Barcelona airport train station.

Since I started photographing in France, I've often seen the beautiful BB 67400 diesel locomotive. However, its area of operation has now shrunk considerably, providing a good reason to photograph the locomotive again specifically. In Strasbourg, a few SNCF BB 67400s are used in regional service with RRR trainsets. Since two RRR trainsets have the capacity of roughly three to four "modern" trains, and the round trips during peak hours cover very few kilometers, it's not yet "worth it" to use several new multiple-unit trains. This is likely the main reason why these elegant locomotives are still in service. In Strasbourg, the well-maintained SNCF BB 67599 is leaving the depot. March 12, 2024 
