Zazwyczaj na tej trasie używane są DB 245, więc piękna DB 218 stanowi miłą odmianę, zwłaszcza że elegancka lokomotywa, która kiedyś była widywana wszędzie, jest teraz dość rzadkim widokiem. 15 marca 2025

The beautiful NeSA V 218 155-0, finished in an old-style red livery, is stationed in Singen (Htwl). Later this afternoon, it will haul the R 3 service to Aalen (via Friedrichshafen and Ulm). Oct 18, 2026

DB 218 397 has coupled herself to a Class 101 with her IC service to Hamburg from Stralsund via Lübeck and Rostock in Lübeck Hbf on 18 February 2026. Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train.
