On 23 May 2026 Lok-3 'LANGNAU' of the DBB (DampfBahn Bern) enters the station of Brugg AG hauling an extra train from the regionto the nearby SBB works,with reversal at Brugg AG station.

Recently restored SBB Historic 10664 lowers her pantograph after having set herself to an extra train. This loco did not participate in the train bonanza that is organised by Verein Mikado 1244 at Brugg AG, but enhances the joy of the hundreds of railway fans gathered at Brugg AG. The loco had a jubilee of her own since Class Ae 3/6I celebrates her centenary in Switzerland as the first locos were delivered in 1926.

I'm not a cow to want to lug around my 1.356 kg heavy camera all day like a bell; so the idea arose to at least look for a compact but still good camera for day trips without a focus on photography. For a few test shots, I chose the Roche VD station, which was recently renovated but still shows itself quite photogenic with shelters and a renovated chalet-style station building. This test image shows the R2 train 24226 from Bex to Grandson arriving from Aigle in backlight. September 2, 2026
