En el festival del depósito de locomotoras el 18.08.2012 en el Museo Ferroviario de Westfalia del Sur en Siegen, se presentó la 218 128-7 sobre la placa giratoria.

DB 218 397 has coupled herself to a Class 101 with her IC service to Hamburg from Stralsund via Lübeck and Rostock in Lübeck Hbf on 18 February 2026. Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train.
