DB 218 397 has coupled herself to a Class 101 with her IC service to Hamburg from Stralsund via Lübeck and Rostock in Lübeck Hbf on 18 February 2026. Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train.

Zum Abschluss der Reise nach Singen gab es dann noch was (heutzutage) ganz besonders - die DB 218 429-9: Die DB 218 429-9 mit ihrem RE 3 3057 von Basel Bad Bf nach Friedrichshafen-Hafen beim Halt in Singen (Htw). In der Regel werden auf dieser Relation DB 245 eingesetzt, so dass die schöne DB 218 eine erfreuliche Abwechslung bietet, besonderes, da die formschöne Lok, die früher überall anzutreffen war, heute doch schon recht selten zu erleben ist. 15.
