The TRN (ex. cnm) BDe 4/4 n° 3 waits in Les Brenets for the departure to Le Locle. And anyone who thinks that I have mistakenly posted the same picture twice is wrong: there are almost 15 years between the two pictures! As a rule, comparison images are used to show differences, but here it is the other way round - the images show how little has changed. And from all appearances, it should stay that way as long as the two BDe 4/4 3 and 5, who are now 74 years old, hold out.

The TRN (TansN, ex cmn) BDe 4/4 N° 3 waits in Les Brenets for the return journey as R 24 to Le Locle. The route was actually supposed to have been laid at the end of 2023, but the storm damage caused on July 24, 23 was repaired and the railway should now continue to run until 2031. It should be noted that the BDe 4/4 3 and 5, manufactured in Italy in 1950, have now been in use for 74 years! If there were an increase in sustainability it would probably be BDe 4/4 N° 3 ... While on the left of the picture in Le Locle the cmn (today transN) BDe 4/4 N° 3 is waiting to leave for Les Brenets, in the background the SNCF X76716 reaches the Le Locle train station on its way to Besançon.

In Le Locle, the TransN RABe 523 076 to Neuchâtel, rented by the SBB, is waiting to depart. On plattform 3 is the 74 year old BDe 4/4 N° of the TransN (ex RdB, cmn) to Les Brenets.
