A telephoto: Brand new alongside, well, a little older: the just delivered ABe 4/8 471 for the ASD and the ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1  TransOrmonan  (built in 1913) are shown in the TPC Dépôt from Aigle. “Showing yourself” required a lot of telephoto. The three ordered ABe 4/8 471 - 473 are to take over the services of the ASD BDe 4/4 401-404 (and de ex BLT Bt) over the next year. TransN has ordered another three ABe 4/8 and the CJ has ordered six ABe 4/8. The picture also shows the slightly different shape of the front of the ABe 4/8 compared to the previous multiple units and the paintwork that matches the shape.

The TPC AOMC / ASD Beh 2/6 542 ‘La Forteresse’ is travelling from Aigle to Les Diablerets as R71 440 and can be seen in the vineyards above Aigle. On the left of the picture, the castle of Aigle can be seen in the background. Although the Beh 2/6 N° 541 - 547 have been able to run on the ASD since they were put into service by TPC, they are rarely seen here.
