Domino and Nina are scheduled to be replaced starting in 2026.In their place, the Alps region will receive new EVO RABe 533 trains from Stadler. RegionAlps RABe 533 703 and another EVO are currently undergoing test runs in Bex.

The new Region Alps EVO RABe 733 are increasingly seen in scheduled service, consequently the deployments of the Region Alpes Nina RABe 525 and Domino trains will decrease. In Martigny, the Region Alpes RABe 733 703 reaches as R91 on its way to Monthey, while the Region Alpes NINA RABe 525-039 waits for departure to Le Châble. April 9, 2026 

Numerous Region Alpes EVO RABe 533 are already in service, so the RABe 525 NINA will likely disappear from scheduled service in the foreseeable future, making it worthwhile to capture both trains in one picture. While the RABe 733 703 is traveling as R91 from Birg to Monthey, the RABe 525 039 is waiting as R 81 for departure to Le Châble. April 9, 2026 
