On the shadow part of the mountain runs a Schynige-Platte-Train down to the Breitlauenen Station.

At the SSIF station in Domodossola, the SSIF ABe 6/6 35 "Verbania" (UIC 84 83 4660 035-6 I-SSIF) is parked. It arrived as a regional train from Re, was cleaned here, and will return to Re later today. August 22, 2025 

The SSIF ABe 8/8 21 "ROMA" (UIC 94 83 4880 021-0 I-SSIF) reaches the Verigo train station as PE72 69 or "Diretto Domodossola - Locarno", where I get off the ABe 6/6 going to Domo 33 was able to take these (and more) pictures thanks to the opening windows. Oct 31, 2024 

The FART ABe 4/8 45 is RE 157 (the red sign "PE 72" is incorrect according to the timetable) shortly after Domodossola on the way to Locarno and has an extraordinarily long straight section ahead of it for this route. October 31, 2024 

The SSIF ABe 4/6 N° 63 (94 83 4460 063-0 I-SSIF) and the unseen ABe 4/6 N° 61 (94 83 4460 061-1 I SSIF) leave Domodossola as express train (Diretto) 43 to Locarno, while in the background a BLS freight train with Re 465 006 in the lead is on its way to Domo II. June 25, 2022 
