In the "gap slots" of the two-hourly offered EC Zurich - Munich, the S7 runs from Romanshorn to Lindau Insel. At least on weekends. For some time now, however, also at certain times during the week and, as already mentioned, to Lindau Insel instead of previously to Lindau Reutin. The quite good frequency of the S7 should justify the relatively long stop at Lindau Insel; I assume that the service will be expanded in the future and thus can be "produced" more cost-effectively. The picture shows the Thurbo RABe 526 745-5 as S7 25889 departing from Bregenz. April 19, 2026 
