A miserable (cell phone) photo quality, a miserable photo location - but when was the last time a passenger train ran with an SBB Re 6/6?* For this reason I dare to show this picture here: the SBB Re 6/6 11622 (Re 620 022-4) Suhr leaves Lausanne with the traditional New Year's Eve train of L'Association 141 R 568 in the direction of Bern and as you can see the train at the front is the noble Dining Car 2749 *To my amazement the answer should be: 12/15/24! For this reason I dare to show this picture here: the SBB Re 6/6 11622 (Re 620 022-4) "Suhr" leaves Lausanne with the traditional New Year's Eve train of "L'Association 141 R 568" in the direction of Bern and as you can see the train at the front is the noble "Dining Car" 2749"

*To my amazement the answer should be: 12/15/24!

The SBB Re 6/6 11637 Re 620 037-2 Sonceboz-Sombeval is passing through Rivaz station with its Spaghetti train in strong backlight. The train is traveling from Torino via Vallorbe to France and is carrying grain (on the return trip) which is processed into dough wagons in Italian, a circumstance that is the reason for the name Spaghetti train. August 12, 2026
