ZSSK prototype 755 001 stands in Vrutky Nakladi Stanica on 30 May 2015. That weekend, ZOS Vrutky, sited adjacent to Vrutky Nakladi Stanica, had an Open Weekend that attracted many visitors to see the nice collection of old stock, with some guest locos fron other works from Slovakia, but also from Czechia and Poland. Class 755 was a failed attempt by ZSSK to radically modernise older Diesel locos of Classes 750, 753 and 754, but experiences led to the vastly more succesfull Classes 756 (ZSCS) and 757 (ZSSK). When financial means for the acquisition of new tratcion are insufficient, modernising older stock is a good alternative.
