In Reggio di Calabria, I spotted one of the now likely rare ALn 663 diesel railcars in service—and it was in remarkably good condition, too.

In Reggio di Calabria, I spotted one of the now likely rare ALn 663 diesel railcars in service—and it was in remarkably good condition, too. Since the ALn 663.1153 moved onto a siding immediately after arrival, and I switched platforms to take some photos, I missed where the train had come from. I suspect it might have been the R 21597 from Roccella Jonica. March 18, 2026
