After having brought in an extra train, EFZ 52 7596 stands at Hausach to take water on 29 December 2024.
On 4 January 2025 NIAG 189 289 enters Rotterdam Centraal with an extra train to Maasvlakte west -a shunting yard and the firt occasion, such a non-travellers' target is announced by the station's



On 29 December 2024 EFZ 52 7596 enters Hausach with a special train. This train is deployed traditionally each year by EFZ between St.Georgen and Triberg -but since both stations are way to small and cramped to gibve the loco fresh water and to stable the train set for two hours, the second train naturally is lengthened to Hausach, where there is obviously enough space to refresh the loco and stable the train set -and giving paying passengers an extra ride!
