On 4 March 2012 ex-NS 2498 stood, equipped with a snow plough, at the turn table in the Netherlands Railways Museum NSM at Utrecht Maliebaan.

Altmark Rail 1155 hauls an extra train into Passau on 10 May 2018. The coaches were owned by IGE, but after a few serious hishaps, they sold the coaches to a Swiss operator. As it turned out to be, this extra train to Budapest was one of the last IGE-specials.
