To my surprise, the TER 96634 was operated with Corail coaches, and at the end, the control car seen here was running. The TER 96634 is on the route from Genève to Valence-Ville and was photographed as the train passed through La Plaine. Much more interesting would have been the BB 22200 running at the front, but since a Léman-Express RABe 522 was standing right behind me, I couldn't see the train coming from Genève. I am standing at the westernmost end of platform 1; the track on the left in the picture ends shortly before with a buffer stop. Also interesting (and the intended subject of the photo) is the old SNCF DC catenary mast, which was adapted as needed during the transition from DC to AC. But now it seems that the station at La Plaine is being rebuilt and the seventy-year-old masts will have to give way. April 16, 2026 
