One-off 2066.001 was rebuild from 1945 from the wreckage of a Wehrmacht Diesel shunter and was put in to service by ÖBB in 1955 at the works in Floridsdorf.
DDR modified Kriegslok 52 8079 takes part in the steam engine parade at Wolsztyn on 30 April 2016.



One-off 2066.001 was rebuild from 1945 from the wreckage of a Wehrmacht Diesel shunter and was put in to service by ÖBB in 1955 at the works in Floridsdorf. Decommissioned in 1994, she stayed a while at Mistelbach before being transferred to the Heizhaus Strasshof museum, wher she -in less-than-fine state- was photographed on 21 May 2023.

Former ÖBB Blauer Blitz (Blue Flash) 5145.11 stands in the Heizhaus Strasshof on 21 May 2023. This DMU once connected Berlin and Wien via Praha in the 1960s fast international services, possible due to Austria being a neutral country during the (First) Cold War between 1947 and 1989. This DMU has ben restored to fully operational status.
