Die Galerie zeigt verschiedene Aufnahmen der Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen-Mürren (BLM), einem privaten Bahnunternehmen in der Schweiz. Im Fokus stehen die elektrischen Triebwagen der Baureihe Be 4/4, insbesondere die Fahrzeuge mit den Nummern 21, 22, 23 und 31 ("Lisi"), teils ehemalige Fahrzeuge anderer Bahngesellschaften. Die Fotos dokumentieren die Strecke und den Betrieb zwischen den Stationen Grütschalp, Winteregg und Mürren. Mehrfach zu sehen sind Züge bei der Abfahrt oder Ankunft an den Stationen, beim Überqueren der Staubbach-Brücke sowie auf Streckenabschnitten durch Waldgebiete. Im Hintergrund sind oft die Berge Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau erkennbar. Die Aufnahmen stammen aus verschiedenen Jahren und Jahreszeiten, wodurch unterschiedliche Lichtverhältnisse und Wetterlagen dokumentiert werden. Einzelne Fotos zeigen Zugkreuzungen, Nahaufnahmen der Fahrzeuge und Ausblicke durch Waldlichtungen auf die Bahnstrecke.

The new BLM Be 4/6 102 “Mönch” comes from Mürren and will soon reach Winteregg train station. The fog in the middle of summer, which enchants the scenery, is rather unusual.

The BLM Be 4/4 31 "LISI" (ex SNB OJB "Bipperlisi") is experiencing its last summer at the BLM; From the timetable change, the three new Be 4/6 101 - 103 will take over all traffic.
The picture was taken shortly before Mürren and shows the Be 4/4 31 coming from the Grutschalp.

The BLM Be 4/6 can now be seen in scheduled operation. They are currently running the current Be 4/4 21, 23 and 31 railcars in mixed operation, which is not that easy to show photographically. The BLM 4/6 102 "Mönch" is almost at the end of its journey as R66 3747 from Grütschalp to Mürren in the foggy forest.

The two BLM railcars Be 4/4 22 and 31 cross each other in Winteregg and are ideal for a comparison.
While the Be 4/4 21 - 23 were built for the BLM, the Be 4/4 31 only came to the BLM later. The apt name “Lisi” comes from its former area of operation; at the SNB the trains were called “Bipperlisi”.
Interesting thing about the Be 4/4 21 - 23: the front seats next to the locomotive driver are freely accessible and are very much appreciated
