In the station  Les Montuires  on 1'800 metres about sea level. Behind a battery engine (normally used for regular trains) enjoying the sun. The building is the mountain side station of the world's record holding most steep funicular with 2 cabin traffic (maximum 84% gradient). 22 June 2008

During the  first international 2ft high alpine steam engine meeting  on crossing station No1. Double heater between  Liseli  and before it, the engine  Maerkische Lokomotivfabrik  (company later gone to  O&K ) No 173 from 1896. On the other track to see is a privately built steam engine, normally used on the railway  Stumpfwaldbahn Ramsen  in Germany. 07 Aug 2005

A heritage train with ballast wagons, like 80 years ago. The weather was dark and rainy, because of that the image is not the best. But the scenery give nice impressions. 19 June 2009

In the valley, 700 metres deeper than the railway line situatet, the village  Vallorcine  is to see (just on the other site of the national boarder to France). 02 July 2011

During the  first international high alpine 2ft steam engine meeting  in front of the shed in  the station  Les Montuires  on 1'800 metres about sea level. 3 guest locomotives around  Liseli  (1 from Spain, 2 from Germany). All the visitors with their engines enjoyed this uncompare spectacle very good. Who knows, what time it would need until a next meeting could be realised on various steam again...? 01 Aug 2005
